Barker's winery was the first established commercial winery in the state of
Kentucky, in business since 1990. They make most of their wine from
blackberries. Berries will just be getting ripe in June, but you can pick your
own blackberries in July and August. Wine tasting and tours of the winery and
vineyards will be available throughout the day. See how much work goes into

This family farm, founded in 1977, raised Kentucky
Pleasure Walking Horses, tobacco, and Hereford cattle. In 2009 they added
alpacas to the cattle operation on their 14 acres. Learn about raising alpacas
